I liked the concept of Injection, but it took me about half of this volume to really get into it. The story is not told in a linear timeline, so it felt like being dumped in the middle of a story, rather than at the beginning of one. There were lots of unanswered questions from page one, and it wasn't until the last chapter or so that the intention of the story started to become evident.

Despite that, I really liked the idea of technology being trained to run so rampant that physics and reality itself becomes affected. I will probably keep reading this series because of my interest in the plot. I just hope the execution keeps becoming more fluid. ( )

Injection is a sci-fi comic that describes a group of five people that gets together and concludes that the future will be really boring and that we've plateaued in terms of progress. To add a little spice to the future, they've banded together their unique skills and created some sort of sentient AI combined with cunning folk magic.

A problem: This AI is now causing mischief, like bringing to present reality past folklore, playing around with the laws of physics, and burning people alive while its at it. (Or maybe "it" is not the right pronoun but "he" or "she" or "they?")

I'll definitely check out the next two volumes, and I've got all sorts of other comic books/graphic novels lined up to read. ( )

I was so pleasantly surprised. This pretty much combines all the things I enjoy in fiction, at least in this format. ( )

Mostly just setup in these issues, decent idea reminded me a bit of a short lived show called Odyssey 5.
Last issue almost enough to take it to 4 stars but not quite. ( )
