Harry Rowohlt, the heir to the German publishing house Rowohlt, recently died. He was a larger than life character, an entertainer who only had to be supplied with food and drink (usually highly alcoholic - which ultimately killed him) to keep an audience spellbound for hours and hours. This account of a conversation of the two friends in Ireland in 2001 both offers a good account of Harry Rowohlt's life and career as well as they way and style he entertained people. It also shows how small the literature and entertainment complex in Germany actually is with a small cast of characters running into each others in limited venues.… (more)

Ich, Kater Robinson erzählt die dramatische Geschichte von Robinson.
Als Kätzchen zu Weinachten verschenkt und zurückgelassen, ist er schon schnell auf sich alleine gestellt und muss sich tapfer durchschlagen. Dabei geht nicht ungefährlich zu.
Emfohlen wird das Buch ab 4 Jahren, mich hat es jedoch beim Anblick einiger der Illustrationen sehr geschockt.
Meine Empfehlung an Eltern: sich das Buch erstmal anschauen und dann entscheiden ob es für das Kind geeignet ist
