Conflicted YA high school senior over-achiever deals with sex issues but this struck me as quite an unlikely story. The student council president has only one friend! All the parents are almost completely out of the story. I can't say I didn't like it but I found I was pretty unsatisfied. ( )

Wow, this book was sooooo good!! I just finished reading The Body Electric by Beth Revis and it was really good, so I was kind of sad that I was done reading it. I decided to start Not That Kind of Girl, I'm so glad that I did! I finished it in less than a day. I suggest you pick up a copy of this book and read it.

Natalie has a lot going for her but isn't exactly the most popular girl in school. She is smart, intelligent and pretty. She doesn't let boys get in the way of her goals and dreams. Everything starts to change when Connor, the football quarterback, starts to flirt with her. She thinks it's just some fling but when feelings start to surface, it gets complicated.

Connor truly was one of the sweetest guy characters that I've read about. You just can't help but fall in love with him too. He was so respectful and just everything he did for Natalie, melted your heart. I know I'm a sucker for a good romance but this just blew me away at times, how sweet their special moments were.

The only thing I wish was a bit different was maybe a little bit more at the end, it seemed like such a huge build up and then just a good ending. I was looking for a spectacular ending since everything else was amazing. I will be picking up more of Sioban Vivian's books, I hope they're as good as this one!” ( )

I officially do not get the hype about Siobhan Vivian. (Cool name, though.) This was "good..." and there will always be that ellipsis adding "but not very." ( )
