This was pretty templated stuff, which is something I would never expect to say about something written by Grant Morrison. Aliens show up claiming to be good, guess what, they're not. Superheroes get beat up and almost die, except one escapes and comes back to save the rest of them. Bad guys get beat up.

Besides that, the "super-mullet" is just terrible. ( )

The one that relaunched the Justice League into the modern age. Would probably be the basis for a Justice League movie but might work better as an animated movie. It was this concept that Marvel used in their Avengers movies. It's a shame that DC hasn't used their own formula to make great movies like this great comic. ( )
