now this was the Cornwell/Scarpetta that I used to like! More about the characters themselves than about the crazies of the world or too much morgue forensics. I think I stuck with the series lately hoping that they would get good again. Much more enjoyable! Next up is Port Mortuary, hoping she stays with this style again. ( )

It is the week before Christmas. She wonders if she will end up like other TV personalities: her own stereotype.

I started this book becausse I am a huge Scarpetta fan. Sadly, I didn't finish because it was slllooowww.:( ( )

I am increasingly disappointed in this series. I used to love these books and keep wondering if it is worth continuing. I am going to give it a break and read other things for a while. I used to love the science and the actual mysteries in the books but lately, it all seems redundant and only about the relationships. ( )
