Henry and Mudge is a cute series but I was a little bored with the writing. I can see kids liking the castle idea but better word play would have been appreciated. (

I have a lot of respect for Henry's mom. In some ways I want to be her, with a big porch & yard & trees, and long dresses and bare feet - but I don't want a huge slobbery dog, thank you. (

Henry and Mudge are bored over a long, rainy weekend. Henry's mom suggests they build a castle out of the boxes their new refrigerator and stove came in. They have a lot of fun and build a great castle.
