Not particularly fond of Katie's dancing and the response itgot ( ) The Impressionists were painters that mostly lived in France in the nineteenth century through the twentieth century. Their paintings were about many different things and of many different things. They were created from dabs of paint on a canvas. Usually, the paintings were of instant moments such as nature, family, or events. It was almost like a picture taken except painted not printed. A fun project could be done to connect the curriculum to this book. Children can create their own work of art using the same art techniques as the Impressionists. Children can go home and select a moment that they would like to capture (like taking a picture only with paint instead) and create it on a canvas. no reviews | add a review
