Even cows want a story to tell their grandchildren. This beautifully illustrated book contains an unexpected adventure. ( )

Emmadine is a cow who lives on a farm and wants to something meaningful so she can tell her grandcows. So she decides to go on a voyage to the south pole. There she experiences many different amazing things one being that the sun stays out all the time in the summern. When she gets home she tells her grandcows what she experienced at the south pole. What I like: Everyone in the book has stories to tell their grandkids, or grandpigs, but Emmedine the cow has no good stories to tell her grandcows, so she volunteers to go to an expedition to the South Pole. The book follows her on her journey until she comes home again, and her grandcows love her story.
What I do not like: nothing -the illustrations are very detailed, the text is just right.
Recommendation: I would buy this book for my library (medium public library). ( )
