All the lighthearted poems of the Hobbit are here along with Tolkien own drawings and art work. Most of the songs and the classic riddles from Gollums cave are included. With many of the poems broken up and told by various people, these are all together. It is time to crack the dishes and break the plates and read these enchanting poems to your kids and even reread them yourself. Since the Hobbit was the light hearted introduction to the ring, these poems are much less dark than some of the others in the Lord of the Rings. Some are sad but none have an overbearing dark flavor.
