I abandoned this book and didn't finish. I just felt like the narrative voice wasn't authentic, more like an adult pretending to be a teenager. Disappointing. ( )

All start on the high school soccer team. The main protagonists are Joe and Kris. Joe and Kris are in the same grade both have attended to school since little children. Joe is the captain of the Lawndale soccer team. When the season start, one Brazilian boy came to this high school to play soccer his name was Antonio Silva. First of all, this boy was rich his father bough him a new car. In the first game all the loca channels were in the game filming Silva. Kris the best friend of Joe look at the Brazilian boy and she start showing off with her elegant smile etc. Later in the book they were a couple. This annoyed Joe. Well the two best friends were mad each other for some months. Later the city got dangerous and Antonio decided to move to Spain. Joe was happy because Antonio was gone, this was an advantage to date Kris. The book ends with Joe and Kris getting in a relationship. Summary of Leonidas.
