Red Pines by Jill Hand is the third book in the series. It centers on the wealthy, quirky Trapnell family. A murder on land owned by a relative brings the three siblings together at the family mansion. Mysterious things start to happen, endangering the lives of the family members. They are being protected by an FBI agent ,who got more than she bargained for. The plot was a little thin and hard to follow, but a fun, quick read. ( )

I was really excited to read this book based on the book blurb, but it was not for me. I did not enjoy the pacing or like any of the characters. I also expected humor, but did not find any.
