This is an excellent collection that documents the lives of successful Hip- Hop artists such as Beyonce, Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and LL Cool J. Adolescent fans will understand the backgrounds of their favorite artist. They will be able to read about the artists’ own childhoods and adolescent experiences. In addition they can read about how these teen idols became such polished entertainers. The beautiful color pictures add a wonderful quality to the stories. Since Hip-Hop is so popular with teens, I think it would be an excellent choice for any MS collection. ( )
