I think that almost anyone eight and older will enjoy it. This has ghosts, pirates and psychics. There is a lot of action and many twists and turns. I like the three twelve year olds that are the main characters and the adults are great characters also. I wish that I had read the first book in the series so I would have known who each of these characters were but I did figure them all out quickly. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this new middle grade series. I am an adult and I enjoyed it also. I received a copy of this book from Smith Publicity for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. no reviews | add a review

This author is really been on my radar lately. I have read a few and loved every one. When I saw this one on NetGalley, I just had to read it! I am thankful they let me. This is my own opinion but I am sure many of you will think the same.
This is book two in her ghost hunting series for middle grade kids but I have enjoyed the stories too and I am far from middle grade. The three friends, one is a psychic, is assigned by his teacher to check on a haunting at a local pub. This may sound strange to us but in this world, but kids are tested for psychic abilities and given a teacher at a young age. Our guy is a late bloomer.
His cousin loves ghost hunting equipment. She has all kinds. Their friend has the muscle and great ideas. They make a good team when they work together. They all go together to this haunted pub. They want to help this ghost cross over. What they find is more than they bargained for. They have no one to call to help them. The more they do, the worst things gets.
It's a great story with a touch of humor, suspense, lots of friendships, courage, with great characters and wonderful plot! Don't forget to read book one first! ( )
