It had some really funny scenes in it and the mood is mostly light throughout while still delving realistically into difficult topics such as anxiety, panic attacks, and the loss of a loved one. Would recommend! Romance: Some kissing Spritiual: A few main characters were said to regularly attend church Language: None as far as I can remember Violence: None as far as I can remember I thought this was a sweet, charming, and fun read. While Daphne and Sierra may have been the main lead characters in this story; I found myself a fan of Daphne's friend, Veronica. She cracked me up. There are plenty of funny moments to be found within the pages of this book. Care bear power! Young adult readers will enjoy this book. All of the characters are very relatable. Which is what I had a bit of an issue is the relatability. This is personally just me as I know other readers including some of my reader friends who really enjoyed this book. The humor is what is the best part about reading this book. It kept me entertained and wanting to keep reading. I would read another book by this author. no reviews | add a review

This was such a delightful book and I was laughing the whole time while reading it. The humor was spot-on and the characters were so special and unique.
One of the best parts was Daphne herself. Yes, she was quite awkward and had an obsession with Care Bears, Captain America, and Cherry Coke, but these quirks and passions made her quite relatable to me as a reader.
This book isn't all kicks and giggles though. It covers things like anxiety and the loss of a parent. These things just added so much depth to the story and another layer to the characters.
All in all, this was by far one of the best books I've read recently and I am so thankful that I gave this one a chance. Sara Jo is now an auto-read author for me. If you need a pick-me-up or just a few laughs, Daphne's Questionable Bet has you covered.
