Sign up for LibraryThing to find out whether you'll like this book. No current Talk conversations about this book. Much more in-depth about the psychology of color than I was expecting. (Descriptions in library catalogs are not traditionally as extensive as those on Amazon etc.) Most of that was nevertheless very interesting, particularly in terms of applying it to your goals for each space in the house and taking into account how others will respond to it. The bits about "If your favorite color is [blank], than your personality is [blank]" were right up there with astrology, but they didn't take up much space or time. The assorted color mood groupings were probably the most useful part of the book. They did a much better job of showing me what sorts of colors I liked and what I strongly disliked than the word association exercise could accomplish. It was too bad, however, that those color groups would randomly and abruptly interrupt text sections rather than appearing in between. ( ) no reviews | add a review
