Una reivindicación de la memoria histórica desarrollada en una compleja forma narrativa que no te permite abandonar la lectura de esta ignominia que parece no terminar nunca. Marta Sanz da voz a tres personajes fundamentales, uno de los cuales es el coro formado por todos aquellos que continúan enterrados en fosas y cunetas, y los otros dos, son las mujeres que los salvarán. Una de ellas, la mayor, heredera de la más joven en esta faena, confirmando que quien te ama cuidará de tus amores cuando tú hayas muerto. Incluso de los amores enterrados.
Encontramos también una denuncia de la violencia a la que las mujeres se ven sometidas, ayer y hoy igual, y su utilización en tiempos de guerra y posguerra.
Sanz no nos ahorra ni una pizca de horror ni de dureza en toda la historia en la que entra con la naturalidad y la paciencia del amanuense hasta dejarnos sin aliento.
