A fun early storyline from Moore - it clearly shows his immense talent, but it's quite constricted by the goofy plots and characters he inherits. With more room to breathe and a leaner setup, this could have been quite something. As it is, Moore make the best of it, and it's an enjoyable - if not essential - book. ( )
