This is my first book by Mr White. It won't be my last! Doc Ford is a good character and I can't wait to read more of his adventures. ( )

Not the best: I really really enjoy "doc ford" and all the other characters that make up Dinkins Bay etc,but for some reason, i just didn't see the rhyme or reason for an old adversary to once againshow up and in such a different plot. I enjoy "doc ford"s, introspection ,which was mostly missing in this book and Tomlinson was himself but not really. Am I making sense? I certainly have great admiration for Mr White, and maybe this was more of a "guy book" but i felt i was left hanging, looking forward to the next one though!!!

A former President enlists Doc Ford and, believe it or not - Tomlinson to find and exact revenge on the man who killed his wife. The story moves fast and has some nice passages of flying and scenes in Central America. The research provides some good material. Ultimately though, the book is for some reason less satisfying than previous Doc Ford novels. ( )
