Interesting developments First, this is not anywhere close to the first book in the series. You would be better to at least read the previous book, College Arcane. I love the series. This is very much more of the same. Declan is front and center with all his awesome powers. Natural laws are broken. Beautiful women threaten alarming levels of destruction. It's pretty cool. The bad: not much really. I graded down mainly because this book requires a high level of knowledge of the previous books to be comprehensible. There is also a tendency to up the power level. It's getting a little ridiculous. Final verdict: I am going to buy the next book as soon as it is published. I love the interesting ways science is applied to magic and vice verse. God Hammer By: John Conroe Narrated by: James Patrick Cronin God Hammer is the name they call Chris, the main character, because he is so bad ass! He is part angel and ?, or all angel? He has power to spare, he brought an asteroid down on a building once so everyone is a bit terrified of him. This is Declans first full time job with Chris and vamp wife. He is making a quantum computer...where it goes from there...you just have to find out here! Love the action, fantasy, the imagination, and craziness that ensues! The narration is spot on! Perfection! no reviews | add a review
