Fundamentalmente lo que he intentado hacer es escribir una aventura que refleje en su desarrollo algunas improbables, pero a mi entender, excitantes teorías acerca de la naturaleza del Universo- particularmente del Tiempo- y el lugar del pensamiento humano en su proyección completa.
Yo creo que la novela futurista tiene una importante función social en el sentido de que, si un verde hombrecillo de Marte quisiera hacer aterrizar su platillo volante en cualquier lugar de la Tierra, lo mejor que podría hacer sería escoger para aterrizar en la azotea de la casa de un lector de novelas futuristas, porque este es el lugar en que tendría menos probabilidades de que le metieran una bala en la cabeza, simplemente por una cuestión de principio.
