I loved this book! First of all, because of the recognizable way this boy, Halim, speaks his foreign language. Compliment to the translater, for the fact that even in translation this was very funny!
It also shows how ordinary people, living in a foreign country sometimes integrate, but sometimes completely turn away from the new society and go back to their roots. It gives a lot of tension, not only between the person in question and society, but also between him and his relatives and friends. ( )
