The Fatal series continues with Fatal Scandal. In this story, Nick has to face some hard truths about his new job and the part that Sam will be able to play as a politician's wife. While Nick is getting used to his new duties as Vice President, Sam's team is targeted by someone out to destroy them.
This book was well-written as all of the books in this series have been, but some of the problems that characters face are starting to become beyond belief, such as the second lady of the United States continuing her job as police lieutenant on the DC police force. It is getting harder to suspend belief as the situations become less likely to be real. However, I'm still intrigued by the series. ( )
