This book hit home in a way that i did expect ... and yet, much more in ways that had me gulping back tears and grinning alone. I related to the family intricacies of life, i related to the big brother younger sister relationship, i related to the tragedy the laughter the sadness and the unspoken ties.
I can see this book as a must-read on a school reading list. I can see this as a powerful movie with an emotional punch.
