Two versions, one novel.

I recently read Fatelessness and when I posted about it in Club ReadI used the one that has the most recent translation, the one I actually read and is in my LT library

But other members seem tho be picking the older version. The older version has more LT reviews. The newer one has none. I want to post a review ppl will find.

There must be many editions of many books. But they are essentially the same book.

In this case it’s the same book just a newer translation

How do I refer to the book generically, or how can I post my review where all the other reviews are?

>1 kjuliff: Your single edition wasn't combined with the main work, it just needed to be combined which I did.

I recommend mentioning at the beginning of the review that you are reviewing the newer translation, mentioning the translator.'s name.

My bad, they both have the same translator. I’d assumed there were 2 entries because of this, knowing it had been re-translated. There must have been some other difference. Now fixed. Thanks!
