CBC finds that Haruki Murakami is swiped from Toronto's book shelves more than any other author, perhaps due to the combination that he's popular and rarely turns up used.

I heard that too. Sort of strange, isn't it! Reminds me that I mean to read more Murakami, but I'll just go ahead and buy the books.

And I know the store where most of the stolen books end up...if you live and buy books in Toronto it's hard not to know the store-and feel guilty for buying their brand new hardcovers.
