I've decided to start keeping track of which states I've read again. After a long absence, it seems easier (and more fun) to start fresh. I'd like to read a fiction and non-fiction book for each state. Eventually.

Having started over, it should be fairly easy to add to my count!

Broken Monsters by Lauren Beukes is set in and around the city of Detroit and the setting was integral to the story. Beukes is South African, but she has clearly spent time in that city.
