About My Library
I am an avid reader of all fiction from thrillers to women's fiction. I'm a huge fan of Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl"; Audrey Niffenegger's "A Time Traveler's Wife"; Dylan Landis with "Normal People Don't Live Like This"; Jennie Shortridge with "Riding With The Queen"; an recently discovered Elisa Lorello's novels, "Faking It" and "Ordinary World".
About Me
Katherine Owen is the author of Seeing Julia, Not To Us, When I See You, and the most recent release, This Much Is True. Owen's writing centers around the themes of loss, love, and fate; her work is considered a little bit edgy, sad, and sometimes funny, achieving a balance between high emotions and engaging storytelling.

After a successful career in high tech sales, Owen made the switch to writing full-time and finally put her communications degree in editorial journalism from the University of Washington to good use. Last summer, Katherine Owen was recognized by the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and awarded the coveted Zola Award and first place in the romance category (women's fiction) for her novel, Seeing Julia. She lives near Seattle and is hard at work on her next novel.
