- About Me
- I am a 27 year-old American who has lived in London for over 6 years. I completed a degree attending the University of East Anglia in Norwich for an MA in Studies in Fiction. I was raised in Saco, Maine and attended college at Wheelock in Boston then Goddard College in Vermont where I graduated with a BA specialising in creative writing. My novel 'Enough' has won the Pearl Street Publishing First Book Award. You can find out more about it at http://www.pearlstreetpublishing.com/) and purchase it through amazon.
Here's what the author Joyce Carol Oates said about my novel: 'ENOUGH is tautly, obsessively, mesmerizingly narrated by a unique American voice- a 'Lucy' who has refused her role in middle-class Caucasian American culture, yet is unable to be content with an identity elsewhere. When, at the novel's end, she declares that she is 'irretrievably lost' in her understanding of herself, we feel that this insight is profound and harrowing and utterly convincing. It's as if Descartes' 'I think, therefore I am,' were acknowledged as the prelude to nightmare, and not to 'illumination.' Eric Anderson has thoroughly immersed himself in his character's voice and it will be fascinating to see what this inventive young novelist will write next.'
I am the associate editor for Blithe House Quarterly http://www.blithe.com) I like to go to readings and collect books although I'm increasingly running out of places to store them. I also live with someone who writes film reviews so I see quite a few good movies. - Location
