In June, 14-year-old Garrison arrives at the Wagon Wheel farm, owned by his grandmother, a virtual stranger.

There is no cell service or Wi-Fi. Instead, there are odd rules about not leaving the property, hostile strangers, and Carly, a pretty girl near his age who suffers from amnesia. Little by little Garrison discovers he’s enmeshed in a war fought by beings with the power to manipulate humans through their emotions – some for good and some for evil. This secret ripped his family apart.

To set things right, Garrison must overcome his worst fears and beat Devose, an enemy with a vendetta against Garrison’s family and a plan to return humans to the dark ages.
