tedious and repetitive BUT ideas that are put forward in this book are valid and inspiring. If only the authors could write it in a more condensed way...

A dull dystopian fantasy about applications of blockchain technology that might change the world, without actually telling you how it works. Lots of words without really saying much, no technical details, the authors seem to think cryptography is some sort of magic.

This book is filled with odd sentences, e.g.
- "Pinocchio can't go long-nose on the ledger",
- "'Fix me', said the leaky pipe. The IoT should inspire a hundred new children's books.

The blockchain is revolutionary. This book however is nothing but pointless speculation about how awesome the future will be. Let's hope so. This book could help by maybe explaining the technology or telling the history of various projects, describing different systems available now. Instead it's just constant bombastic predictions and general exuberant excitement.
