Robert Osborne (1) (1932–2017)

No plot, lots of characters, very little writing. I liked this book, it was a titillation for a movie addict like myself. It makes me want to make a list of all the movies that were nominated each year and watch them to see what I think of the winners. There is also a nice explanation of how the Academy came to be and what they do. All of this, of course is history, since the book ends in the year 1974. The black and white photos are large and fun to look at, including one of each winner in their movie and usually one of them receiving their award. Nice trivia.… (more)
