interesting read about one of my favorite actors. as close to a true biography as you can find on him.

Enjoyable book, but I hoped it would give more anecdotes about Cary Grant's movie career: how he made his movies, stories from the set, etc. It's more of a memoir about what it was like to be Cary Grant when off-set than on.

I am about halfway thru this book. It is so much more a memoir than a biography. With this inside look at Cary Grant's life, I have found that the crush I have always had on him is only growing by leaps and bounds. This book takes quotes not only from his very closest friends (many who are as famous as he was) but, from the very handsome, funny man himself. You come away feeling as if you missed knowing someone who wouldv'e been great fun to be friends with...like you were born at the wrong time. So far, SO GOOD!!… (more)
