Lewis Lockwood, one of the world's leading Beethoven scholars, is the Fanny Peabody Research Professor of Music Emeritus at Harvard University and the author of the Pulitzer Prize finalist Beethoven: The Music and the Life. He lives in Brookline, Massachusetts.
