Visually gorgeous, with some great songs and some nice, emotional through-lines, but a terribly weak plot that fails at tying it all together and really hampers the enjoyment and makes it only a pale shadow of the original.

2021 movie #148. 2012. Ralph is a video game character bad guy. In the video game arcade, the characters of different games are free to mingle through the power cords. Ralph goes off looking to be a hero. Great film full of atrocious puns and great visual gags. Loved it.

So much had happened in the movie that I didn’t how to fully understand it. I thought maybe the book would be easier to understand.
