C'est notamment le seul ouvrage, à ma connaissance, qui relate l'apparition le 28 août 1914 près de Mons, d'un chevalier à l'armure flambloyante mettant en déroute une vague d'assaut de l'armée allemande. On sait depuis qu'il s'agit d'une "légende urbaine"...
