This picture dictionary is definitely a useful tool for yougn readers and writers. It has many of the words they need to know or might encounter. There is not a direct correlation between many of the pictures and the words, however, so students need to have some basic reading ability to get full use of the dictionary so that they can read the sentences with the less clear pictures, which contain the words in blue. The dictionary occationally contains different meanings for the same words, and has a few plurals that may be more difficult for young students.
