This book really kicked me in the emotions. I really liked how this book tackled both the foster care but also the aftereffects of abuse. This book has many triggers warnings including abuse, sexual and emotions, PTSD, depression/ anxiety and sucied. I really was emotionally connected to these characters and this book made me tear up many times. It was book that was able to strike a balance between self discovery, friendship and romance. This book was super emotional read but one I loved. i can't wait to read the others book in this series.… (more)

I really did loved this sequel novel. I really enjoyed that I tackled harder topics like the aftermath of abuse and its effects on your relationships and also just your life. I also like this book tackled the larger topic of the me too movement. It was sometimes hard to be in victoria head at points but I really liked how this book was set in college. I read so few YA Novels that have that setting. It was read that read quite fast. I liked the how it took victoria two books but she has created her own found family. I def like the insight to what happens to foster care kids during college. Such a great read.… (more)
