I received this book as an early review (and just realized I never reviewed it! Sorry!). I really enjoyed this book. I love the whodunits that not only keep me guessing until the end, but keep me laughing and entertained throughout. Will look for other books by this author.

This was, on the surface, a mystery novel with a fairly normal plot - i.e. drugs, murder, private eye etc. The author does a good job of keeping the action moving with a minimum of "fluffy filler". About the time you feel you have it all figured out he introduces a new twist to confuse your conclusions. Must read to the end to get the full picture.

I found myself laughing out loud while reading this book. I liked that the main character, the private investigator Chauncey, was a more experienced person, aka older, and not perfect. While reading, I felt as though I was his side-kick on the cruise ship during his investigating. It's not your usual, who done it. novel. I was kept interested throughout the book and would recommend it.

Plenty of twists and turns in a storyline that makes you want to stay up to the wee hours of the morning to find out who dunnit. The characters are quite the group that keep you on your toes.
