From Eden to Armageddon offers readers a treasure trove of some of the world's best-known paintings, along with lesser-known works of art that depict the history of the world and its prophetic future. Denny L. Brown has scoured galleries and collections around the globe to bring together masterful pieces on everything from the Creation to the rise and fall of the Roman Empire to the earth's celestial glory. Arranged in lines and stanzas, the book reads like poetry, enhanced by beautiful fine art. Through verse and art such events and characters as Joseph in Egypt, Belshazzar's feast, the birth and ministry of Jesus Christ, and the war at the end of the Millennium are depicted. Artists include Michelangelo, Raphael, Thomas Cole, Poussin, Tissot, van Dyck, and Del Parson.… (more)
