Book description
It's Heathers best year yet and she wants to stay nine - forever! But how can she, with a birthday coming up? When her mother suggests an unbirthday party, Heather agrees. Just as long as there aren't any presents or balloons or candles to remind her of turning ten.
But how long can she stay nine? Wacky Rosa Rita understands Heather's predicament - after all, she stayed eleven for an extra six months. Now at twenty-three Rosa Rita can still do some things that Heather thought only nine-year-olds could do. But she also knows things that Heather can learn only with time. Maybe it won't be so bad to grow up like Rosa Rita.
