Superficial and meaningful love affairs spice the story as the characters conquer their demons and misfortunes. Leopold, Phryne and Eloisa travel very different paths as they reinvent themselves and renew forsaken love.
This is book #4 of the Throckmorton Family Novels. It is written so it can be enjoyed on a stand-alone basis, but like the other three novels in the series (In A Cream Packard, The Katydid Effect, and A Bridge To Cross) the reader will discover hidden threads that weave the colorful fabric of Throckmorton family history. Buried secrets and clandestine relationships connect the characters past and present.
