Advertisement text: "THE LIBRARY of the late Rev. Mr. Joseph Secombe, consisting of above five Hundred Volumes, to be SOLD at his late Mansion-House in Kingston, where Attendance will be given the second and fourth Wednesdays of the six following Months, by Josiah Bartlett, Attorney to the Administratix.

N.B. A Catalogue of the Books may be seen at said House, and at the Probate-Office in Portsmouth.

April 22d. 1761."
During his years as a missionary Secombe also received shipments of books from the Bray Associates in London (see his biography in Sibley's via Colonial Collegians)
