Library Notes
Probate inventory: "one horse bridle and Saddle liberary and Cash and weareing Clothes," valued at £18/9
King James Bible: "Some of the leaves are missing, but the colophon at the end of Revelation shows that the New Testament was printed in London by Robert Barker, 'Printer to the Kings most excellent Majestie,' in 1620. The Concordance was printed by Bonham Norton and John Bill in 1619." Held at Pilgrim Hall, Plymouth, MA
Geneva Bible (London, 1633): believed to have belonged to John Alden, and passed through his family and the Thayer family. Held at Dartmouth College. Library record. There's some possibility that this copy was never actually owned by Alden himself; given the publication date, it certainly was not on the Mayflower.
